Alon Orlev, MD

Neurosurgeon

Dr. Alon Orlev is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in neurosurgical oncology, minimally invasive skull base surgery, and cerebrovascular neurosurgery. He is dedicated to helping patients navigate complex neurosurgical challenges, emphasizing education to empower his patients in making informed health decisions.

Dr. Orlev previously served as a cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgeon at Israel’s largest academic neurosurgery department, where he also also served as the residency program director.  He has a keen interest in advanced , minimally invasive techniques for treating cranial lesions.

Before medicine, Dr. Orlev was a helicopter pilot and flight instructor in the Israeli Air Force, an experience that sharpened his skill in high-stakes, rapid decision-making. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, water sports, flying, and hiking.
